Gummed pockets are an ideal choice for fundraising campaigns. Cost effective and fully customisable, these pockets are perfect for collecting donations. They are available in the following sizes: 98 x 76mm, 125 x 97mm and 152 x 110mm.

Gummed wallets are a larger alternative to our pocket envelopes, providing you with more space to present your fundraising messages. Their dimensions are 84 x 145mm.

Dual gummed wallets offer potential donors the option to donate by either cash or by submitting their credit card details. A separate section of the envelope where credit card details can be recorded is torn off and placed inside the larger envelope. Sizes include: 84 x 200mm with a 70mm wide perforated section and 98 x 200mm with a 70mm perforated section.

Fundraising by mail

C5 envelopes (162mm x 229mm) are ideal for communicating key fundraising messages before your potential donors have even opened the mailing. They can fit a sheet of A4 paper in, which has been folded in half.

DL envelopes (220mm x 110mm) are perfect for sending out letters to current or prospective donors. These can be plain or windowed to suit your needs. They can fit a sheet of A4 paper in them when you fold the paper twice.

Business reply envelopes can increase donations made by your prospective givers by saving them both time and postage costs. These are available in a variety of sizes to fit inside your primary mailing envelopes such as DL (220mm x 110mm) , C6 (162mm x 114mm) or C5 (162mm x 229mm)

The sizes above are the most common printed envelopes that we supply to charities but we can print any envelope size that is requested. Simply tell us about your requirements and we’ll find an envelope to match them.

What kind of materials make up your printed envelope?

We measure the thickness of paper with the acronym GSM (grams per square metre). To put this in perspective each page of your morning newspaper is roughly 50gsm, your typical household printer paper is roughly 80gsm.

Most of our customers request their envelopes between 90gsm (standard) and 120gsm but we can provide both thinner and thicker materials than this, depending on your requirements.

Our new range of Heavyweight envelopes can be ordered in any weight between 160-600gsm. These pocket and wallet printed envelopes can be fully customised and are ideal for protecting important documents.

We can also provide Board-backed and Gusset envelopes (which are ideal for carrying and protecting multiple sheet documents).

What kind of printing can we offer on your printed envelopes?

We print envelope using either the litho printing method or digital printing. One to four colours are available on each printer.

Litho printing is more cost effective for larger print runs. Digital envelope printing meanwhile is more cost effective for small print runs and also comes with the capability for single envelope personalisation.

This means that we can fulfill your requirements for a segmented mailing campaign by printing multiple versions of your printed envelope.

How about my printed envelope’s flaps and style?

Envelopes come in three different styles, to suit various requirements.

In terms of flap style, there are also a few options for how your printed envelopes can be sealed:

Peel and Seal envelopes have a strip of paper over the glue. When you strip off the paper, the glue is then exposed and the envelope can be sealed.

Self Seal envelopes feature two lines of natural rubber latex, which sticks on contact with no need for moistening. Please note that the shelf life of Self Seal envelopes is about 6-12 months.

Gummed envelopes need to be moistened before they can be stuck down. They are suitable for both hand sealing and inserting machines and have a shelf life of roughly two years.

Gummed envelopes with our innovative zip style opening speed up the retrieval of funds from envelopes and eliminate the risk of ripped cheques or bank notes. They are available to order in the following sizes of pockets – 98 x 76mm, 125 x 97mm and 152 x 110mm.

 What about the seams?

Self Seal and Peel and Seal envelopes come with the side seams inside the envelope as standard. However, it is possible to request an outer seam for gummed wallet style printed envelopes if this is a requirement for your mail sorting machine.
